About: Swing Education is a mission-driven company with a vast network of substitute teachers they connect with schools—and now with families looking for learning pod support for their children.

Services offered through Cleo Marketplace:

  • Bubbles by Swing Education matches families with a qualified, experienced K-12 teacher to provide in-home education for a learning pod of 2-8 students (hosted at one of the family’s homes)

Ages served:
3 to 18 years old

Use cases for families:

  • Engage a teacher to help a child or group of children follow along school-provided curriculum (while providing socialization, and more 1-on-1 attention)

  • Virtual education and tutoring sessions: Families can book live virtual sessions with an educator who can provide education based on two types of curriculum:

    • Project-based learning focused on whole-child and social-emotional learning

About:
Wonderschool is a marketplace for licensed family childcare programs (i.e. daycare, in-home childcare, and preschool). Wonderschool vets providers for quality and offerings and lets parents search for available programs that fit their needs. Wonderschool also supports forest schools (fully outdoor-based educational programs) and microschools.

Services offered through Cleo Marketplace:

  • Platform to search for, tour, and enroll in in-home licensed childcare and education programs
  • Microschools: programs that are offering support for school-aged children

Ages served: 3 months to 12 years old

  • Infant and toddler programs: 3 months - 2.5 years
  • Preschool program: 2 - 5 years old
  • Microschools: 6 - 12 years old Note: Many programs are mixed age and may have children of different ages.

Use cases for families:

  • Full-time or part-time child care for a baby, toddler, or preschool-aged child (in a smaller program than a center with lower child to provider ratio)
  • For a school aged child: children can attend the childcare program and the provider can help ensure they are focused on their remote learning from school, but also have time for activities, play, etc.

  • Daily homework help for small groups, targeted at ages 5 to 10. We provide parents an accountability partner to help children complete their assignments online while parents get time back to work
  • Afterschool enrichment classes with small groups of 5-6 children such as Black History, art, or yoga
  • Additional “circle time” socialization focused content for preschool aged kids (ages 3 to 5)

Use cases for families:

  • For younger children with a nanny or caregiver, Flexable classes add a new type of learning experience and provide some socialization
  • Short classes are helpful when a parent needs a specific hour free for work and can outsource learning and/or activities to Flexable

  • Parents can create a free account on Winnie.com to begin searching for care. With an account, parents can also message providers directly to schedule tours and get enrollment information.
  • Option to purchase concierge services for finding a program.
  • Option to purchase priority access to vetted Winnie network program.
