Nikki is Cleo’s Senior Vice President of People & Culture, where she is responsible for leading Cleo’s culture and values. She’ll be growing our teams, adapting our organization, and driving progress and connection during this new and ever-changed era of work.
A veteran start-up HR leader with more than 20 years of experience in growing companies, Nikki also has the street cred of being one of the first adopters and early champions of Cleo. She is truly an ideal professional to amplify Cleo’s mission and vision. Learn more about Nikki Hampton below.
What brings you to Cleo?
I’ve known Cleo since its earliest days and have been a longtime fan. Now, I’m delighted to lead the People team and continue the great work that is underway across Culture, People Operations, and Team building.
How do you plan to support the People team?
I started my career across HR and Finance and have spent the majority of my career working in high-growth start-up environments. I hope to leverage a wealth of lessons and insights from companies I’ve supported, from the earliest stages through IPO.
I have a passion for HR tech, but more specifically the people scaling the growth of start-up companies like Cleo. I’ve built high-performing teams across marketing and technology businesses while maintaining a core focus on employee engagement and best-in-class people practices. Operational excellence is important, but above all, I’m a passionate advocate for diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
What keeps you busy when you’re not at work?
I’m a proud mom to my son, Nicholas, and my daughter, Madison. If you’re in Athens, Georgia, you might bump into this devoted Giants fan walking my dog, Oscar, or cat, Lupin (yes – the cat likes adventures, too!). I also sew, bake, embroider, and collect plants. Community is really important to me. I love hosting dinners and game nights for my friends and family.
